Introducing one of the newest kits on Kitterly.com: the Dentado Scarf from Manos Del Uruguay!
When we first saw this scarf we loved almost everything about it, from the combination of vibrant colors to the fun zig-zag pattern that shows them off so well.
The pattern may look complicated, but it’s not. It’s our favorite kind of pattern in fact, just a little increasing and decreasing keeps your knitting interesting and producers those great, jagged stripes.
Dentado uses two colors of Manos Del Uruguay Clara, a very special superwash merino wool. This yarn is a delicately-spun single-ply that is light and lofty and incredibly soft. The yarn is great for showing off the rich colors and variations in the hand-dye that we love from Manos. We’ve got the original combination of Patroleo and Azafran, plus three more combinations that we thought were stunning.
The project only takes two skeins of this great yarn and the pattern is free, so this very special scarf won’t break the bank.
If you love Dentado but haven’t seen the Pradera Wrap, check it out. We’ve had it for a little while and people love it! It uses 4 skeins of the Clara, held doubled and switching up colors to create a great ombre effect. We’ve got it available in the original colorway and another vivid combination of blues, greens and purples!
